HRH PRINCESS Dr.MORADEUN OGUNLANA

Princess Moradeun Ogunlana is a visionary leader, entrepreneur, philanthropist, energy consultant, and bridge-builder. As a recognized leader in women empowerment for Africa in the United States and around the World, the Princess is the 2022 recipient of the  Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from the office of the President of the United States of America, President Joe Biden, and Vice President Kamala Harris. The Princess is from one of the oldest and most distinguished royal family lines in Lagos, Nigeria, and the Royal Kingdom in the Republic of Benin, respectively. She is the granddaughter of His Royal Majesty, Pa David Ajasa Ogunlana, the 10th Obanikoro of Lagos in Nigeria, who ruled until 1969. She is also the great-granddaughter of the ninth ruling King of Remo Kingdom, Ogun State, Nigeria, and His Royal Majesty, Oba Liyangu Owabagbe Adenuga. The King of Lagos, His Royal Majesty, the late King Oba Adeyinka Oyekan, who ruled from 1964 to 2003, was her beloved Uncle. It is globally acclaimed as an undiluted repository of the finest attributes of African royalty, combining a refreshingly elegant dose of intellectual glamor with an unquestionably rich aristocratic pedigree. Princess Moradeun has garnered a reputation as a global citizen, traversing the continents of the World with a stunning and statuesque feminine royalty and sophistication that captures the attention of all who encounter her. Princess Moradeun is the Founder/CEO of African Women's Health Project International (AWHPI) and President/CEO of the Innovative Global Consulting (IGC) Group of Companies. As the Chair of the AWHPI Global Foundation, she leads an international non-profit group that focuses on empowering women globally thru access to healthcare, economic empowerment, agriculture and trade associations, cultural developments, and partnerships. As a United Nations Ambassador for Peace, and Chair of The Global Summit Group, Inc (UN Global Compact participating member), she works on economic equity issues affecting women through groundbreaking research and training programs via the UN sustainable development goals. Her Highness recently launched the Africa 2-5-9 PROJECT INITIATIVE aimed at sustainable climate change action plans for the Continent of Africa at ADIPEC 2021 in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Long known for her coalition work, Princess Ogunlana has served on numerous Advisory Boards of organizations such as Fight Cancer Global. In addition, she serves as the Vice President of the Houston Abu Dhabi Sister Cities Association and hosts the Annual UN First Ladies Forum and Economic Development Summit Dubai, UAE.
