Dr.Aslı Erem is a seasoned professional and academician focusing on strategy, future, and social impact. She has earned a Bachelor of Science from Hacettepe University, a Master of Science from Johns Hopkins University, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Baskent University with over 25 years of experience. She began her career as a Financial Analyst at Prudential in the US. She later returned to Turkey, serving as Vice President of Strategic Planning at Koçbank (now Yapı Kredi Bank), CFO of Gama Power Systems, Group CFO and Executive Committee Member at The Marmara Group, and Board Member at Aksa Energy.
She is an independent Board Memeber of various local and international companies and a Visiting Professor of Project Finance and Organizational Behavior. Dr.Erem has contributed to the development of multinational companies across the globe, working on projects across various regions. Her international career has allowed her to understand diverse business models and regulations.
She is passionate about gender equality, women's rights, empowerment, and social causes, serving as a mentor, leader, and activist. Erem is a member of the Forbes Council, Yenidenbiz, and 30 Percent Clubs, which aims to increase women's representation in boardrooms and leadership roles. Married with twin daughters, Aslı Erem continues to make a difference in her professional and personal life.
